Electro Technical Officer (ETO)
This unique sector-specific program which is the first of its kind in India focuses on the needs of appropriate education and training in the areas of Electrical and Electronics. The program of study has been carefully designed by experts and professionals in shipping practices. Yet another unique feature of this program is that the curriculum will be largely handled by industry faculty who are experienced professionals in this field. This program is designed to equip the students with adequate skill and knowledge in Electrical and Electronics in the ships.

Eligibility:
A pass in B.E. (or) B. Tech in (Elect) / EEE and or Diploma (Elect)/ EEE with minimum 50% in final year & 50% in English in 10th or 12th STD or in the Degree Course conducted by the Board or any University.
Age:
Age Up to 26 years
Medical Fitness:
Medically fit with eyesight 6/6, with or without external aids. Maximum power permitted (+) 2.5 No. colour blindness. All candidates have to pass complete medical examination and mandatory tests prior to joining at the Academy. NMS have panel of qualified Doctors and requirements as per ILO Convention 147 Seafarer’s Medical Examination.
Selection Procedure:
NMS undertakes Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning and Psychometric tests followed by an interview. The final section will only takes place after medical check-up through our panel Doctor.
